Did hypercoil ever produce gold colored springs instead of the usual purple? The reason I'm asking is because I picked up a pair of springs that the seller was claiming are made by hypercoil in a "rare" gold color. I just want to know if I got shafted, because he was selling them for SUPER cheap.

 

Sure they're not Goldline springs?

 

Dark Blue is the only color that I am familiar with under the Hyperco brand but they do make them to be sold private labelled for some tuners and other brands in a number of other colors. These may be made by Hyperco to be sold under another brand.

 

Lee, is this the case of goldline springs (I doubt it !)? (If you know/can tell)

they look pretty bling to me! i actually like that color, even if they arent real hypercoils. call them up, itd be interesting to find out.

 

mine on my formula 1600 are dark blue... I never saw them in other color... look like a scam to me.

 

They always do dark blue, unless it is a private label spring, like Lee said. If it is a private label spring it would never be advertised as Hypercoil though...
