Did you just install those components and the misfire started to happen - or did you throw those components at the misfire problem in order to fix it?

this might help i bought the car with a bad motor this new motor did not have a crank speed flucuation sensor so i wired that input to the ckp circut on the distributor

when i first drove the the car it would cut out while driving the tach neddle would bounce thought it was a bad distributor but turned out to be a bad ground now car runs great but i get these codes like clockwork

Why did you think it would be correct to wire the CKF input to the CKP output??

Your problem is simple - you're missing a sensor and things aren't hooked up correctly.

If you're ECU is looking for a CKF input - then give it that.

Please don't apply this logic to other sensors - like the 2nd O2, for example. If you bought a header that only had one spot for an O2 sensor, do not use the output from the primary as the secondary input to the ECU, ya' follow?

i did this because i was geting a instant code for no crankshaft speed flucuation sensor
the code went away and has not come back since i did this i was just stating that i did that in case someone else did the same thing and got misfire codes from it

But....you shouldn't have done it in the first place. Get a CKF sensor on there and see where that gets you with your misfiring problem.

FYI, the CKF plays a role in misfire detection - not having it there is more than likely the cause of your problems.

The CKF sensor IS the misfire detection sensor.

I believe the number of teeth is different between CKP and CKF sensor wheels.

If you do not feel or notice the misfire the code may just be stored, after a condition occurs 3 or 4 times (depending on make) the ECU stores the code.

Edit: just realized you said the CEL comes on, nevermind the above then.

pretty sure tach signal is received through the ignitor in your distributor. what year is your car?

your right but i get the P1300 code i floored it the other day on the interstate and it will only go 100 mph it acts like the rev limiter kicks in for some reason and the tach jumps...Any body have any idea?

Still the ignitor. Buy a new one, but buy one without the heat sink, it will be much cheaper, just swap the heat sink from the bad one.
