Default pics of a ctr (yes i know, not another one!)

here are a couple pics i toko of a black ctr in a german honda dealership.

some interesting things i found:
1. no red carpet.
2. back three windows are tinted. i wonder if this is from the factory or if the dealership put it on?...
3. sticker price: 26.905 euros = 35,667 dollars WOW!

oh and one more thing, i like the side mirrors with the light bar, do you think they would fit my 03? is the base of the mirror the same for all model years?

no man, you're conversion factor is all wrong. I don't know what it is, but I do know that the Euro trades slightly lower than the dollar. In other words 26905 E is probably something like 27 or 28K D

damn, I knew those were the exchange rates, just didn't know the math would be that outrageous. It's not that I didn't believe you.

**** I don't think a Type R is worth that much.

You're right. People need to learn that most of Europe is LHD. Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, France, Sweden, etc. There are very few countries that use RHD cars.

The R is still stupid hot and still not in North America, although I dont think I would spend $37K on it either, I was thinking that a CTR should sell for somewhere around $25K when compared to an Si.

Things cost more there but they also get paid higher salaries to compensate. S2000,EVO,STI will cost more than the CTR there.

Yes, those mirrors will fit the USDM EP3.

The conversion isn't that popular since we already have the blinkers on the wings, and the mirror blinkers are kind of redundant.

Yes...which is why those projectors are such a hot item right now. The German CTR headlights are properly configured for driving in USDM.

<--Has German CTR projector HID's, and they're great!

You are right after the conversion from the Euro to the Dollar. I am from Barcelona and yes you are correct. Its unbelievable how much more expensive cars are in Europe that the US.

hehe yes, the euro is worth quite a bit more than the US dollar right now and it is pissing off a lot of the european gov'ts.

I hope the USD falls a lil more, very good for our economy at the moment.
