Default Took header off and exhaust runners are black!

Took the header off today and my exhaust runners are coated with a pretty thick layer of dry looking black stuff. So what I'm wondering, if this is because I'm runing rich or is it oil being burned? I only have 3000 miles on the rebuild and it seems to run strong. For the first 20 miles on my engine, I know that I was running really rich, but would the residue still be there? I assumed it should of been burn't off by now. As of right now, I burn a bit of oil, but that may be because I drive my car pretty hard... i dunno :shrugs: Here's some useful info:

Tued Hondata w/440cc injectors
Fuel pressure @ 44psi at idle
Intake cam +4 deg.
Exaust cam + 2 deg.
Last compression check at 1000 miles showed 200-220 across the board
I forget what my timing is at, I'm gonna check it after I get the header back on.

Edit: No codes are being thrown right now.

am I running too rich if there's a caked on layer after only 3000 miles? do you think I should turn down the fuel pressure or get the car retuned?
