Default D - series OBD 1 vs. OBD 2 injectors

Just curious i have OBD 2 injectors on a OBD 1 D16z6 head mounted to a B15B7 block. I am having serious HC smog issues, everything other then tailpipe emissions is correct. Could the different computer sys. injectors cause over fueling, leading to no pass?

No, they're both high-impedence injectors. I'm not sure about D series injector sizing though, but all Honda OBD-1 and OBD-2 injectors are electronically compatible.
