Default A few things for my '88 CRX HF...

I went to Wal-mart earlier and they have this crap in the auto section. It's Plasti-cote Vynal Paint. It's supposed to be somewhat flexible like vynal so it wont break is what I'm guessing. Has anyone tried this? I'm wanting to use it to paint the interior crap in my car, like the dash, inner trim, console, etc...

Also, we went to a junkyard today to get my wife some tires for her car and I came accross an Integra. Not sure of the year, but it's got a b18 engine in it. Runs and everything. It's got some aftermarket rear lights and exhaust, not sure of the makes, but the guy is wanting to sell the whole car to me for $800. Is this a good deal? It's an automatic and I would be able to use everything on the car because it's all still good and functioning. We're thinking about trading him two other cars for it. They're old cars we're getting from some other guy for real cheap and they're worth a pretty good bit. My friend says that the b18 will bolt right down into my '88 CRX HF, is that true?

it depends on the year of the teg whether it's worth $800 or not.

I've used platicote on interiors before with mixed results. Just don't paint your interior some gaudy/ricey/ugly colors and it should be fine (i won't have to kill you). It should ONLY be used to paint stuff black haha.

One minor detail. If the car is automatic, then you MUST source a manual transmission, ECU, and intake manifold. B-series mount kits won't accommodate an automatic transmission. The engine will not perform as well with an automatic ECU. And the automatic intake manifold has an EGR valve.

I'm wanting to paint the interior of my car black so that's the color of the plati-cote I was gonna use

The Integra right now is an automattic, but I think I would rather have a standard. Still not sure about the year on it though.
