I recently purchased a 1987 Honda Accord LX with a manual transmission. The car runs fine, although sometimes when I shift to 1st or reverse, it sometimes has a hard time going, like to have to use force to get it in there. Like I said, this only happens sometimes, sometimes it shifts perfectly. Also, when I'm at a redlight/stoplight/etc and it won't go into gear, I will take my foot off the clutch, and push it back in, usually that makes it go in, or sometimes, I will throw it in to 2nd, then first when I'm at a stoplite, again that will sometimes remedy the problem.

Obviously this isn't normal, what could this be? I'm guessing the synchros? And how spendy is it to fix? Thanks.
