Default Metal Grinding Sound from Brakes.

Whenever i put on my brakes the front right one makes the most awful Metal grinding metal sound. I thought that maybe it was my brakes going bad but when i checked them they had plenty of life. Also whenver i turn my wheel to the right it makes the same sound. Anyone have this problem or know how to fix it?

By checking them out, do you mean you just looked at them with the wheel still on? If so, you need to take your wheels off, then take your brake pads off (both sides) and check the condition. I bet your pads are shot and that's what your hearing as far as metal to metal. Your probley going to need some new rotors as well, since the shot pads probley eat them up.

Ive found on my crx the inner pads wear faster than outers, so take the wheel off and check out the inner pad. If thats not it, check to make sure the metal sheild around the rotor didnt get bent and is rubbing on the rotor.
