Help with my 84 Prelude

I just bought this car and every time I drive it and pull up to a red light or stop sign or slow down it dies. I cannot figure why. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Does it stall when the car is just idling at a standstill?

no it does not stall or die when you let it idle. it only happens after you drive.

Do a compression test to see if you have any bent valves.
