Hello all motor gurus. I wanted to know what kind of engine mounts you were all using. Please post your setups as well. Both positive and negative feedback is welcome.

I have an EK coupe with B18cR and OEM mounts. I think I broke one last night which is why I wanted to start this topic. I have no problems with OEM mounts. They are of course smooth and daily driving friendly. Mine probably broke because I reused the mounts that came with the swap from hmotorsonline. They looked like they were in good enough shape to reuse. I got 18k out of them

I'm going to run new OEM mounts with Prothane and Energy Suspension inserts.

I use all four Place Racing mounts. It's too bad they're gone because the mounts fit and work great. The vibration is not as bad as my broken OEM ones

i used stock honda mounts with Home Depot polyurethane filling ... works great. For the CRX street and race, we use Hasports kits and they work great I liked the full race inserts in the street car where the dash vibrates

on my EM1 with my B18C TypeR motor i use:

JimFab mounts on the front corners
upper trans mount is stock of course
ES urethane insert in the rear
and a Hasport pancake to ITR/EG style drivers side conversion kit

its STIFF, too stiff for a street DD in my opinion, feels nice though, very similar feel to a swapped EF, just solid.

sorry for the dirty pics :HASPORT:

sorry for the blurry pic

why it only weighs like 5 lbs. wont make a difference. if that is why you want him to remove it.

yeah right dude, cruise is the bomb, and the weight loss is NOT worth it IMO.
i paid for it, might as well use it (although A/C and P/S have been justified)

Rear, and two upper mounts are Hasport

Bottome mounts are Jim Fab.

Rattles like crazy and I love the feel. Improved shifting characteristics tremendously.

I use stock mounts all around. All 3 torque mounts have Energy Suspension Inserts, and the top two mounts are stock. Works great, motor doesnt move at all.
