Me and my buddy with a 91 rex ZC were cruising locally when this guy in a green hatch waved us over....He asked if we wanted to run and we went to the highway to do a 40 hit....Me and the 91 were smoking him until the lanes decided to start to merge together...The **** in the green hatch wouldnt let me in and i was forced onto this median.....I lost control at about 85 and turn 180 degrees back into the flow of trafic...I missed a Caddy by about 6 feet, i was able to see his face in front of me as i swung by...I went off the road and slid thirty feet into a retention ditch...drive about 300 yards to find this land bridge to get over the creek...got stuck in the mud 3 feet from the fence that i used angle cutters to cut down....Not a scratch on me or the car....Da rex is clearly a tank....Game Blouses

 

Hopefully your lesson was learned about street racing. You'd feel real bad about hitting someone's Grandparents in the Caddy. Sounds like it was problem in the link between the gas pedal and steering wheel not the weather.

Im not gunna sit here and defend myself to you guys...it wasnt in the middle of the day...the caddy was rolling with the kid in the hatch ( not grandparents) And yes it was my fault, never said it wasnt....Obviously you all have never street raced before...or made a mistake....And tell mr law enforcement to kiss my *** because your just an *******.... to all that judge without knowing ****

Grow up, no one on h-t cares about your street racing accidents. And I'm the *** hole trying to stop innocent people from dieing, I bet you go down archer and race down there to.

 

i dont think chicago weather had anything to do with your accident or mistake on the road. well i hope you were smart enough to decline the race when it snowed/rained a few days ago and if thats the case you thread title should be "Damn i am such a retard!" rather than blaming the weather for you losing control.

 

it seems like thiese CRX boards are becoming more and more of somebody posting a stupid story and getting flamed than actually good info. yeah its on here if you search but im tired of seeing a whole front page of, i almost wrecked my car being a jack ***, will my car beet a ferrari?, and what motor should i get threads. to that

Do you think I can beat a snail? And I was wondering what would be the best setup to run in my car I was thinking a 1.6SOHC with a Intercooler, turbo, Supercharger with NOS...do you think I could beat a rocket to the moon with that? Or I was going to do a 1.7DOHC with 5:1 compression and CO2 on it with a LS tranny do you think it would be good for 8's?

But on the serious side it is annoying the constant "did you search" (guilty here of this phrase, read my signature), or the I just got my first _________ (hatch, CRX, 4 Door, Wagon) and was wondering what engine is the best...Or the can I beat __________ (Car Model Of Your Choice) on the street, cause I'm to cheap to take it to a track where it would actually measure one's skill and have a receipt to back up my I can run the 1/4 in 10's blah blah blah....but I've never taken it to the strip I just know my setup will do that with the optimal driver and optimal conditions cause I read it somewhere.

 

Sorry guys...I put the wrong title to the wrong post...sorry...i was going to write a post about how crazy the weather has been in the last couple of weeks....Any way I wasnt bragging about how stupid i am i was trying to get the point acrosss the the crx is a tank and survived...That the car put up with that crap without shitting out...Thats what the point was....
