Default cleaned up the '97 R(and a new set up)

we just had the pittsburgh world of wheels show, so i use this oppertunity to have a nice warm spot to clean my car, despite haveing to drive it down in an inch of snow. a friend of mine took the pictures for me since my picture taking skills are almost non existant. i got a new whaust manifold on the car (RLD fab), new radiator and made all new intercooler pipeing with a new 3" downpipe. car feels alot better but i still gotta get the wideband on it to make sure everything is still good to go. enjoy.

I'm digging the little Nintendo Res. Socks. Where did you get those?

I'm sure since you've debadged the car you get more than enough "Is that a real Type-R?" questions don't you?

You mentioned a new radiator. Did this include a new fan to go with it? I have the same radiator, but with a SPOON low temp thermostat and fan switch. I found my car was running about 20-25% cooler in general. I'm sure it's a bit hard to tell with the weather so cold but have you noticed any difference?

Looks nice man. Good to see another Turblowed R

Aloha,
Brandon

i got the Nintendo socks at the mall from a store called Hot topic, they had a ton of different ones there. i get a few people asking my if its real or not, but the funniest thing was a little kid at the show, he could have been more than 10 years old ran over to the car, looked at the wheels then ran around a looked inside the car and yells at his dad and says "look dad its a real type R" haha. as far as the radiator, i had to buy a fan for it. im still running the stock thermostat and switch but im gonna wait till summer to actually see if this radiator made a differance or not before i change to much stuff.
