Quickest E.T. w/ least amount of WHP???
Just curious of times out there--
Was talking to a guy at etown last season in a blue eg hatch and he
was making under 200whp hitting high 11's (all motor)
seems very impressive!!!

Seems like from your whp you should be going faster than 112..

To me that is impressive^^^^^^^. My LS-T had less WHP but, I am sure it had more torque. It was only ran in that trim twice: 12.42 @ 110 2180lbs. w/ 1.8x 60'

My old EG hatch that I sold made 163Whp on the dyno at the pomona Nhra event last october.. Not sure on the weight but it is completely gutted, one piece front end and big slicks 24" 13"lensos.(going to boos.. Any way the motor is a bone stock B20B with a bone stock GSR head and a bone stock p72 ecu... The car went 12.9 at 108!!!
They did not allow us to run again because they require a roll bar for those et's and a helmet!!! Had the helmet but no roll bar

A good friend of mine here in tampa went 11.98@114 with 202whp in a 2000lb crx. That run was on slicks.
On BFG drag radials he went 12.3@112mph.
Setup was pretty basic too, R cams, JDM R pistons, around 11.7:1 compression, R transmission, R lsd.
BTW, this was all 2 years ago.
Here is a link to one of his timeslips.

yeah you're talking about Bleep's car ... there is no short answer, it has to do with weight of car with you in it and the gearing vs tire, i.e. final drive ratio and where the powerband is for the motor.
Bleep made even more power with a manifold setup (he was sub 200 with ITBs if i remember) but took him a few runs to get it dialed back in to make sub 12's ... he then ended the season with 11.7's or something (slightly faster than his best wiht ITBs) ...
so there are more factors involved, but landing the right combo and the driving using the *correct* powerband will yield the best e/ts

95 Civic Coupe EX w/full interior... not sure on exact weight, but I am guessing 2500+ w/driver?
I guess I can't really compete against you all motor guys with light cars though.
