Whelp the mioter seems to have shredded the hood release cable.....and instead of threading a neew cable through and attaching it to the 15 yr. old hood latch Asm. I've decide to go Muscle Car and use hood pins .

Anyone here have pics of there hood pin set-up? just looking to get a refrence of where and how many to use?

im going to have to run hood pins too, just do away with the latch cause its broken... and maybe cut the under body off the hood.

 

Take great care to make sure they are properly fastened. You may want to consider leaving the stock safety catch in place. Anytime you lower the hood, latch them right then, on the spot! It is common for guys to drive off without them latched and the result = $$$.
