Hondata S100 vs. S200
What is the difference between the S100 and S200 units? From what can i tell, the main difference is the data logging. Is this really important?
I've already bought the S100 and was wondering whether i should get the S200 instead. Is it worth it? I have a laptop at home - can i diagnose problems/see if my car is running ok myself using data logging?
My build will be N/A on a B16, BC 3+ cams, mild PnP and hondata ecu.
This is a page from Hondata's site. http://www.hondata.com/s100.html

You'll need the s200 if you want to tune. Since you already have the laptop you might as well get an s200 with datalogging..I think it comes standard with all s200 so you don't pay extra for it.
ROMulator works with both. It interfaces with the chip socket, not the Hondata boards.
I like having the datalogging available whenever I can. That way I can view the lambda logs later on as a function of rpm. I also use it to keep tabs on the coolant and intake air temps. Pretty handy thing to have.
