Default Possibility of a 6 speed???

Okay, is there any chance in hell of being able to come up with a six speed B-series transmission? This would be a nice way to keep the engine's cruising speed lower on a turbocharged car, and closer gear ratios wouldn't exactly hurt the acceleration...

Just an idea, it may not be possible...

I know they suck but Ls Teg trannys are probably the best or better equipped trannies ta handle any kind of boost.

what are the gear ratio's of the b20 trannie you would think that the gears on that beast would be taller than needed for you tuubo.

im guessing its not really an option seeing that APEXi decided to make an engine spin backwards and reverse mounted it, in order to hook up a 6 speed in their drag integra heres the link http://www.turbomagazine.com/archive...e09_answer.jsp

Okay, then it's out of the question. Damn.

Hmm... what's the scoop on taking a GSR tranny and finding a taller 5th gear for it?

The quafie box is for NORMAL FWD engines, not Hondas.

Hint, see what APEXi did to get tranny to work!

B20 gear ratios are JUNK! Go LS is boost + low rpm cruisng is your wish.
