Default Want to fit Harness's in My EG Sedan, But..

Need to keep the back seats and back seat belts.

Been told I can get a bar that fix's behind my front seats that would allow me to attach a set of harness's without messing with the Back seats or the Belts.

Any suggestions would be greatfully received.

Regards

Chris

the bar you are talking about is made by sparco.i find them on ebay.they are not cheap though.about 400-500 bucks.you can also look int a set of schroth harnesses.they make one set that in the middle of the strap that runs to the floor on the side a passenger gets in is a buckle to let passengers in betwween the belts.of course no husky people will fit comfotably.good luck

Just FYI, running a harness without a full roll cage on a street car could cause, at the least, very serious injury in a roll over; due to the fact you will be strapped in tightly and sitting straight up as the roof caves in.

If you'd like to know more, search around the RR / AutoX forum for harness bar.

also a harness that is not attached at the right place (and the floor is NO the right palce) can cause spinal compression injuries in an accident as well.

Even with a harness bar, it is still unsafe to run a harness in a street car without a cage. The harness bar will just prevent spine compression if you hit something, it can still cause severe damage if the roof were to buckle since your body can't move. Just a warning to you or those viewing this thread.
