How Long the Engine need to break in?How Many Km?
Break it in on a dyno while tuning. Best way to do it, that way you don't have to worry about running too rich or lean on your new motor and hurting it

Broke mine in on the street. About 5 somewhat easy miles, then beat on it prety hard. Worked awesome. Its the first time I did a "hard" break in... but after reading more about the whole debate, it makes more sense to break the engine in more on the "hard" side. Its going to help the rings seat a whole lot quicker, thats for sure. Engine has been very strong for me also. Runs great. Excellent compression numbers on all 4.

Still I would advise to get it tuned. If you break it in hard and you're running rich you can wash out your rings and start having problems right away and if you're running lean....well you know what can happen if you're running lean. Dyno tune it and brek it in that way to insure no harm is done to your freshly built motor. JMHO

I broke mine in hard on the street with a careful eye on the wideband I have installed. I'll be doing a compression test soon, with ~500 miles on the motor, to check up on everything.
If you have a wideband, street is okay as long as you make sure everything is normal. If you don't, or don't know what you're doing (be honest with yourself please!) take it to a dyno.
