Can a Auto P13ECU run on a Manual Prelude Si
Hi,
I am doing a conversion Si --> VTEC , But all the guy has are Engines off AUTO cars with AUTO ECUs !!! Can they be installed on a Manual Prelude ?? The guy said u just dont use the Auto wires and it runs fine...is he just trying to sell it or is he right ??

go to pgmfi.org, in the library under the hardware mods, you can convert an auto p13 to manual.

Actually you <U>can</U> use an auto Obd1 p13 from an automatic ina manual and it will work and not give a CEL. I belive the fuel curve is slightly differnt but to answer your question it <U>will</U> run a manual.

thanks prelittle lude, but how do u do that ???
All I had to do was remove rp11. Bam no CEL What was once automatic is no longer :D
Fuel curve different
I think its just bad news trying the auto ECU ... should just try to find a JDM Manual ECU
