Default Whats up how about a little Help for a New comer

Hey wants up, Ive owed A Domestic Car Sense I Started Driving...from a 88 Iroc Z, 1993 Turboed Probe GT, To a 1998 Mustang GT with a list of mods for all of them. But Ive always wanted a Honda/Acura Secretly but i think my family will kill me when they find out im going to buy a Honda, The things I like about them is they get great gas millage, run for ever, and don't break often, and can be very fast. So here Is the question Im looking to buy a 92-95 Hatchback my knowledge on Honda's are limited so what i would like to do put the Type R Motor (B18A I Think) into a 92-95 hb but i want to do everything right, what would be the easiest swap for a 92-95 hb that would produce the most Hp/Tqu what would be the the 1st mods I would be looking to do to make power, what kinda prices would i be looking at for all of this, I do not want a Shop to do it as i would like to learn about these car as i have all of my others.. Now im not claiming to be the best driver in the world but im good at it, so what kinda 1/4 mile time's can i expect to see from a 92-95 hb with the Type R motor and Tranny in it or a GSR tanny in it with Bolt ons? Once again thank you for your time in reading this and replying to this.... I will be checking this forum often so thanks

Im looking to acheve low 14s how hard is that?

Not to hard to get an EG (92-95 hatch) into the 14's with a twin cam swap.Spend some time using the search feature on this forum. There is huge amounts of info in there. The b18c1 and c5 are the honda high power vtec engines.Another high power swap is the h22 vtec (a little more work to swap).

If you have a specific question you will have better luck. They write complete book to answer your question.I did a quick search and this is one example. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=702784
