i only have hyper-rev...im not really sure what other mags are out there. i know there are a few jdm honda mags, but i forget what they are titled

honestly the place aint that impressive from a price and availability standpoint for hondas. Give the fact that hondas arent that popular of tuner cars compared to nissans mitsus subies and toyotas in japan they really didnt have any integra or s2k parts...and I dont think I saw really anything for civics. I know that they can order anything, and people in Japan have more limited access to parts than us believe it or not, but I just think that the JDM style store in the US would be a bad investment on their part.

I would love to see the Cali location to be able to see how they modified the in stock product lines to better serve the competitve US availability of parts, and the need for more honda/acura parts than in the JDM mkt.

hahhahaa.. you can get the option mags at tower records.. or if you go up to fort lee nj.. there's like a japanese supermarket type thing up there...

i got the option mag with the s2k with the top secret turbo..

The only J's Tipo book I have on that shelf is the "Honda Type R" one in the middle.

Oh and to the guys in the east coast, don't worry, you're not missing out on much by not having a Super Autobacs. Its cool to look at things there, but everything is overpriced and almost anything you get for your car will have to be ordered.

 

i've never seen Honda specific J's Tipo, are you confusing J's with Hyper Rev? J's Tipo is a monthly mag and there are domestic (Japanese) and import (mostly europeans) editions. they're related though i think; J's Tipo is a part of Neko Mook, whereas Hyper Rev (along with many other local mags) belong to Tatsumaki Mook. hope that helps

p.s: what makes them think they can get $36usd for them Hyper Revs? i bought the mine (S2000 no. 3) back in August for 2000 yen.. that means they're marked up almost 200%

Yes, they have the monthly mag too...

But look in the picture. For the ONLY HONDA mag in the first column (bottom left of pic), and the HONDA TYPE R mag in the second column of mags. If you look closely you can see the J's logo on there...its white on the ONLY HONDA and its red on the HONDA TYPE R magazine...

Take a gander. J's Tipo Hotness!!
