Exhaust cam was off timing so it was heating my header up just a bit.

This is not BS. My exhaust cam was set wrong, so it was still openwhen the car was firing and I was getting combustion in my header. And the motor is a b16.

Hm...just put your hand on that thing and get a cool manufacture logo in your palm

How did you actually notice that? Poor performance or did you just happen to pop the hood after a drive?

does it really matter how he notcied it? his idle was high so he decided to take a look at his engine. And you wouldnt get a logo on your palm because there is no logo on the header.

Good job detective, you should be on CSI. What reason would this guy have for fooling us into thinking that his exhaust cam was off, this is rediculous. Anyways EFcivic757, I'm glad to hear you got it fixed, thats a wild pic.

it will do that also if the ignition timing is retarded too far. makes sense that it would do it if the exhaust cam was way advanced too.

welcome to the glowing headers club. we once got a cast manifold from a b2 to glow like that. it was crazy! then the car killed itself.
