Should I keep my 88 HF LCA since its type r status and it helps the car "rotate" and maybe possibly hax it up to fit sway bars on them. Or should I just get me a pair of the 89-91 SI LCAs? And just curious...did the 88 si came with sway bars on their LCAs?

wait...isnt it just a almost "bolt-on" sway bar for my 88 hf lca? arent the holes already there?
it wont make a difference. the extra "rotation" youve heard about is in the chassis mounting point. not the LCA. and youll also need new shocks. not worth the change for the sake of your stated reason, because its not relevent.
i changed out my whole rear end setup on my 88 si to my 90si parts car for disc brakes.. swapped out the trailing arms and everything. the 88 struts use an eye mounted shock compared to 89-91 which use fork mounted struts.

yes i am aware of that. im wondering if i can bolt on a sway bar on my 88 hf lca. it looks like it has the hole for it but im not too sure about it.

itll work. if theres a hole, check to see if theres a nut welded on the inside. if not, just fasten your own nut to the endlink. if theres no hole... then drill it yourself.
but if youre going to use a Si swaybar, youll need to figure out how to mount the swaybar brackets to the chassis. if youre going ot use sometihng like a type-r swaybar that mounts to the subframe, im not sure if that works, it could. someone else may be able to answer that.
