Are these nike shoes good for racing?

Default Are these nike shoes good for racing?

I wonder how thick the insole is. The are relatively cheap, but if it's just like other running shoes (thick insole) i would buy a pair that looks nicer.

I don't think so - They look like they have huge soles, like all other nike shoes. I would get a pair of Simpson, Sparco, OMP, etc. I wouldn't buy any nike shoe for racing sight unseen!

I have a pair. They were like $20 from Eastbay. Someone posted it here which led me to buy it.
About the shoes, they are nothing special. They are just like any other Nike's (in terms of driving purposes) and they are a bitch to put on and remove.
