Default Grassroots Motorsports magazine wants to see your car

First off, gotta say I have seen some neat photography on this site. Some of you guys know which way to point a camera. That got me thinking.

Without giving away too much, we're working on a story for our magazine and can use some photos of people's cars. I could shoot them, but figure it may be more fun to make this a group effort. That's where you come in.

I have a wish list of cars I need photographed, and figure some outside contributions might make things interesting. Here are some of the cars on my wish list, and I'll include the non-Hondas because I know that some of you have friends:

Acura Integra
Datsun 510
Diamond Star
Dodge Neon
Ford Escort ZX2
Ford Focus
Ford Probe
Honda Civic
Honda CRX
Honda S2000
Mazda Miata
Mazda MX-3
Mazda Protege
Mazda RX-7
Nissan 200SX SE-R
Nissan Sentra SE-R
Subaru Impreza WRX
Toyota MR2
Toyota Supra
VW Golf

Before sending me any images, a few quickies:

- Please first read our photo guidelines at http://www.grassrootsmotorspor...e.php

- No "watermarks" on the photos, please.

- If you read the magazine, then you know what like. I don't want to say "no Altezza tail lights" as to not embarrass anyone, so let's just say we're looking for cars that go with our usual editorial mix.

- I only need exterior shots for this one. Don't really need any people in the photos, either.

- To keep my inbox manageable, how about two images maximum per car.

- E-mail the photos my way, but please include the name and contact info for the car owner as well as the photographer. Also tell us something about the car--year, make, model, mods, etc. Please don't post the photos here, as I'd rather receive the images via e-mail. (Yeah, I know, a glutton for punishment.) Sending in the photos doesn't guarantee any ink, but I'll make sure everyone gets an acknowledgment that we got the images.

I guess that it. Thanks for playing along.

I'm sure you can get some good pics from the Honda-Tech crew. I have some shots of my CRX, but they're too small... and some of my Mazdaspeed Protege, but again, too small (not to mention, I'm no professional photographer
)

Yeah, that's the one thing we can't fudge. Figure we print at 300 dpi, hence the 1280x960-pixel minimum. CRXs are still cool, though.

Judging by what I have seen on this site, probably all of the photos we need are already out there on members' hard drives.

I got a few photo last night, so thanks. A few people have asked about numbers. No, it doesn't have to be a race car. In fact, a really clean street car would work just fine. Here's kind of what I'm after (hint, hint):

We're saving them for a different story. Figure this is just one story out of the tons we run each year. Although if you have a cool one, send a photo my way.

Hey man, that my GSR with the SSR Type X's on it. I only have a few other pictures of the car but they arent that great looking. If you want I can try to get some more or maybe meet up with you sometime since you are in the state.

I also used to have a Mazda Speed Protege. I have pictures on that car so I will send them to you when i get a chance.

I've got your Dodge Neon right here. These are kind of old, the car looks different now. I will get you better pictures soon (if you want them)
