Default 1992 Honda Ex accelerates to slow

OK my problem is my honda is accelerating way to slow and is not switching gears.. My mechanic told me nothings wrong with the transmission and it has the provided oil. But he told me somethings wrong with the electrical. Might be the computer???? Or sensors???? I dont know i need help bad im tired of my honda acting like that. And the D4 light stays on..

check the cat. converter
i have the same problem a while back..i thought it was the trans too...so i took it to AAMCO and they told me that the cat is restricting the exhaust flow..after i got the cat replace...the acceleration was strong...

Hello?? THe D4 light is on and the "mechanic" says there is no problem?? I'd say you need to find a new mechanic. It sounds to me like the trans is in default mode or a shift solenoid has died. Use the link below to get the trans code, you can count the D4 flashes.

Is the speedo working?
Try this BEFORE you buy a cat converter and a mugen performance chip
