who has done an ITR 98 spec b18c motor swap with cable transmission into a 96 civic dx?? i'm doing this and need help with axles, computer, wiring harness etc.... tell me anything you think would help me...

Shouldnt be cable, should be hydraulic tranny.

You can run a 97-98 P73 or convert to OBD1 and use a chipped P28, use any b-series axles, and wire up VTEC, knock sensor if using P73, oil pressure switch. You will get more help from the Hybrids Forum, https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum?id=18.

what kind of bad luck?the only real difference is the clutch actuation system between the two styles of trannies.why use an older tranny that's more likely to have problems or be worn,has an inferior engagement system,and will require either some rigging to make it work,or a conversion kit that many people haven't been happy with it's performance?
all your questions can be answered by old posts or the FAQ in the hybrid section.the swap you are doing is very common and has been covered a million times.
