Default Kazz Question

Tried doing a search but couldn't really get the answer I was looking for...

I keep hearing that the kazz unit is a high maintainence lsd. what exactly is involved in maintaining the lsd?

any input is greatly appreciated.

for one thing, a LSD from Kaaz, Spoon, ATS, etc. requires frequent changing of gear oil. it's recommended that the gear oil be changed every 5000km or so... LSD gear oil is pretty expensive compared to engine oil. if you dont' change the gear oil frequently, as the gear oil gets old and breaks down, the LSD starts to make 'clicking/cracking' sounds and becomes difficult to drive

thats exactly the answer I was looking for. 1 million thank you's. I think I'm going to go the cheap route and get a itr lsd. My car will only see a track event like once a year...so no need for something heavy duty.
