Cruise Control stopped working????
Well i totaled the car about a year ago, and finally got it back on the road, so ive tried to use my cruise control and it wont work, the lights on the dash come on, but the pedal doens't take control, could the cable to the pedal come lose? or any other suggestions
check the simple **** 1st.
fuses, cables and wiring connections(especially grounds)
u sed the light still comes on so it's prolly not a fuse
check the main plugs as well as cables in and out of the cc diaphragm under the hood

same thing happened to me except for i didnt wreck. one day it just stopped working. the light on the switch still comes on but when i press the set button it doesnt engage.
I have some what of the same problem, it just takes like a good amount of time to ingage. I press the set button, light comes on but the pedal take a while to set in place so the car slows down and then starts to pick up... So I have slow ingagement...
Hope fore some help for all of us

Yeah I had that problem when I bought my car, turns out, the CC unit in the engine bay was cracked WIDE open. So I ripped it out. Don't miss it a bit.

i dont think it can be the switch at the brake cause before it stopped working i could press the set button like 5 times before it actually engaged so it has to be something else but now it doesnt work at all.
