tips for building up my sohc?. please help

I need some tips to mod my sohc thats in my 99 civic ex coupe. any suggestions (besides intake, exhaust and headers)? I kind of want to stick all motor, so let me know whats out there to do. thanks in advance.

cam, springs/retainers, higher compression, ported head, different FD, IM/TB, nice header, etc. all places to start researching. register on http://www.d-series.org
