Default JDM ONE PIECE HEADLIGHTS 90-93 INTEGRAS FOGLIGHT BULB!!! question. HELP!

i am aware that there is a yellow film/cover that gives off the yellow color when the foglights are turned on using the jdm headlights. i am also aware that the jdm foglight bulb is an H3 application. one side is a lot dimmer than the other so i want to replace both of them. so here comes my questions:

1. can i just use any replacement h3 bulb without worrying about a yellow bulb since there is a film behind it?

and

2. how many watts should it be? i am confused because i've read nothing above 35w, then nothing above 50w and lastly, nothing above 55w...

PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!

I'd stick with the lowest waltage. I've heard of people using both 50 and 55 wattages with no luck, because it melted the plastic...

I'm not too sure, but to be on the safe side.

Just use the stock H3 fog light bulbs. One of my JDM fogs blew and I just replaced it with one from my stock bulbs, they are the same thing. I would just pick up a new pair of bulbs from Pep Boys, Autozone, etc. if you want them to be the same brightness.

I'm not sure. I'll look into it but I'm sure they are both the same wattage for both USDM and JDM fogs. They both have plastic lenses and housings for the fogs so I doubt anything would go and melt.

just as long as you dont go higher than 55w you will be fine anything over will either blow your fuse or melt the housing. Ive used a 55w h3 bulbs in mine for about a year and a half now with now problems at all and no it doesnt matter what color bulb because the headlights have a yellow "condom" that covers the bulb.
