Default why me!!!!!!!!!!

about a month ago i blew my engine, because water was getting sucked up from my cai.... SO i had to get a new gsr shortblock, which i got now i take the tranny off and silverish fluid is leaking out, my mechanic opens it, and my tranny is done also... I go to school and werk so i needed my car back asap.. So i buy a b16 trans. of this kid for 300, he told me 3rd gear grinds only when u rip it..
SO the trans gets put it, i take it for a ride, and 2rd gear just grinds even when im goin like 10mph.... and my reverse dosn't work lol.. IF i swap my synchros from my gsr tranny which are still good will this problem be solved???

What kind of B16 tranny is it? If it's a y1, j1 or s1, you may not be able to swap gears with the GSR tranny. It's a little bit different.

Make sure you check all the stupid stuff first like fluids and linkage to make sure your clutch is fully disangaged before you get yourself into a project that is not needed

Don't know if that's possible. I'm sure you know, but you get what you pay for. Good luck though

dang man, 800 fer shortblock and 300 for tranny, you coulda got a complete b16 swap and been done.

woulda had a power loss, but less headaches.

good luck man, i feel your pain, i havent had my car for almost 3 months
