Default 225 50 15 on a crx?

i would like to get a bigger tire under my crx. do any of you run extended wheel studs and spacers to make them not rub? what size spacer are you running? also does a aftermarker rear lca make a difference in what size tire i can run?

did you say spacers?!?!?!??!

BAN!

j/k
Spacers are a hazard. Seriously. They are banned here in Holland and gernamy for a very good reason. And there isn't much legislation on vehicles on that territory. You need to seriously re-evaluate that thought process.

There is nothing wrong with a spacer when you have enough threads on the lug nuts. If he is going to run extended wheel studs he will most likely not have a problem.

they will require quite a bit of fender massaging.

the spacers you will or will not need are dependant on the wheels that you are running.
if you search in the autox/rr forum you will find a few threads that mention specific setups.

spacers are banned in some places because they place more stress on everything attatched to the wheel due to the wheel being further away and the normally resulting lack of hub-centricity that poorly designed spacers will cause. better manufacturers offer hub-centric spacers after a certain width. (H&R are a very nice example, and also come with correct-length lugs).

225/50/15 is pretty tall for a crx- a 225/45/15 is a better choice if you have the option.
