I got a 96' V6 accord... and I just got some oem Nissan Maxima HIDs. I looked in my engine bay and it doesnt seem like I got much room in there. I got JDM Stanley Black housing lights on there so those take up a little more space cause the bracket is eliminated. If anyone has my car w/ hids, let me know how you mounted the ballasts then... thanks!!!

 

depending on how long the wiring between the ballasts and bulbs are, you can mount them on top of the wheel wells...this is what i did...if you don't have as much wiring, then you may have to fab up some kind of bracket to mount to the upper radiator support...good luck...

 

and in the wheel well u mean underfender and above splash guard? cause i dont want it to get wet at all ... got pics of ur setup?

 

no no no...i meant in the engine bay above the wheel arches...definitely don't mount them in the wheel well under the car...

 

well one side has like the intake box and crap there... and the other side massive abs junk

 

what i did was took off the bumper and mounted them on the bumper support(i think), either that or its hte frame. i cant remeber exactly. i installed them when i was puttin my Stanley JDM headlights in, so the bumper was already off so i just put them under the bumper where it wouldnt hit at all. they are in no way seeable. you just have to be careful running all the wires. make sure they dont get crimped or anything like that.

 

sorry, i don't have abs, but my ballasts fit with the intake box there...you'll have to get creative with it...
