the repair manual says to put a rubber hose over the bleeder valve...open the valve. put the rubber hose in a bottle of brake fluid and pump the pedal. that is how i did mine. no probs.
i had the same problem , just put a rubber hose over the bleeder valve , put in into a bottle of brake fluid , then open the valve pump the pedel , close the valve , pump the pedle , open the valve , if it dosent stiffen up , dont open the valve as long . this worked for me .... no problems yet and it's been 5 months

uh gee you think that could be a problem? you know the slave can only physically extend so far before it blows apart. im willing to bed you trashed it.

Are you bleeding it correctly? When I changed out my Clutch Master Cylinder, I had to repeat the bleeding process about 5 times before I got any pressure into the line.
Crack open bleeder screw.
Press clutch pedal all the way down.
Close bleeder screw.
Release clutch pedal.
You do need 2 people to bleed it properly.
