hey guys,

i came out today to get ready for D1GP and it's gone. I had autolock, pager alarm, hood looks, 2 kill switches. roomates saw it at 3am, came out at 6am and it's not there.

interior is stripped, i had a locking gas cap with about 20 miles of fuel left. located in irvine - it couldn't have gotten far.




Here are some of the parts to look out for:

Apex'i 99spec N1 pro damper
B&M FPR and gauge
2 White Faced Greddy Temp Gauges (one used for oil, one used for water)
Greddy Oil Block Adaptor (for the oil temp)

Grex (greddy) ****
4x100 15x6.5Matte Black (dirty as hell, more like brake dust brown) Speedmaster Esses
GSR rear disc brakes
99-00 Tails
96-98 DIY black housing headlights
cheap fiberglass CTR style grill
Momo Competition wheel (seams are coming apart)
Narspec QR
96-98 OEM CD player (2 pieces)

checked all towing companies today, finished filing a police report and got off the phone with my insurance.

there goes 12k worth of work.

Yes, I did have an R motor. b18c spec r. 01 motor. El Monte PD called me today at 5:30pm. I'm thinking - damn that was fast. The first thing I say before I even say hello is "Is it in one piece?" Nope, "major components of the car is missing." I goto the PD station about 1hr drive away just to sign stupid release papers - the junkyard is closed; as I find out when I arrive. I look at the unapproved police report. Everything is gone. Everything. I don't know how to feel right now. I'm kinda of sick of Hondas at the moment. The only car that will make me feel better is the Evo8. Which is way out of own budget. I hope Allstate doesn't lowball me too much. =/ Car was salvaged - I think I'm screwed.

 

Dammit man thats horrible. My brother (Jon) only talked about how great you were with your car and cared for it so much. Whats really messed up is that you had all those anti-theft devises and they still got it

Yeah, how is Jon? I haven't seen him around in a while - he's been missing our meetings.

 

Yeah he's been up in Santa barbra lately seeing his girlfriend He's doing good. Just hearing about stolen hondas makes me so mad. I hope they find whoever did this and they get their *** handed to them in jail. Did you ask any of your roomates friends or anyone around the area if they saw anything suspicious last night? Any cameras in the parking lots?

 

I actually parked at 11pm on the street. My roomates SAW my car at 2:45am coming back from a party. When I came out at 6am this morning, it wasn't there.

 

Thats weird. Usually I would think that if you parked your car in a certain area or spot every night they could plan it out. But if you parked your car on the street in a different location for that night then it is more of a random attempt.

 

It hurts when a custom car disappears

 

Sounds like someone that knows you took your car. Sucks to hear dude.
