Default Cleaned my itr header,,,,<<<<

got bored and decided to clean it before it goes on the car...btw i didnt worry too much about the bottom since it will never be seen..my engine bay is tiny

here it is durning cleaning


here it is all done...


btw i used simple green and scotch brite pads...gonna soak it real good with wd-40 so it will turn gold after it runs for a while

I had a 5ziggy one from japan and I did the same, wire brush and elbow greese

Looks good man! I hope to pick one up soon for my RS..

Looks badass. You're going to soak it in wd40? Won't that ish burn and stuff? I remember having to redrill the studs in my cat and used wd40 and a lot of oil to get the old bolts off and during the redrilling, and it smoked like a bitch when I put it back on the car and it got hot.

Mabe run the car with the hood open for a lil while to let it burn off, but sounds like a good idea, I might have to try it.

wait do you spary wd-40 onto the header when its installed onto the car? or just let it sit in wd-40 for hours then install it? any cleaning required after putting wd-40?
