Hi, all. When I check the code module I see the LED blinking 5 times. The problem is intermittent but persistent. Added info: recently as my odometer was coming up on 200K miles it stopped working -- of course, no speedometer either. Does anyone know what is indicated by 5 blinks? Or is there an online list available showing these codes? Thanks in advance. See ya' Ray

and to me, it seems like your speedometer cable is either stripped, or more likely just slipped out of the speed sensor housign (on the back of the transmission housing)
