Default Quesetion About Hondata and Other Systems

Today I found myself thinking about what would happen if you remove the battery from a car that has a hondata or uberdata type system on it? I know that clocks reset when you take the batter so would the hondata reset too?

What about when you disconnect the ecu as an anti-theft device, would anything happen to the hondata or ecu, would it reset? I wouldn't want to have to go get it retunned because of something like that happening.

hondata and uberdata are burned chips there should be no reason at all they should be erased by unhooking the batt.
