4cyl is lefty loosey. Not sure if it is different.
I had to put a breaker bar on it and a 5 foot pipe on the end and move real slow. Came right off. Dunno if this helps.

Never mind I hope it is the same as an older accord cause those are righty tighty lefty loosy
Well I broke my breaker bar with my extension on it
and my impact is not doing a damn thing.
