my camber....
well i just got my allignment at firestone and they said that they cant fix my camber. they gave me a reading sheet on my car and it said that my camber for left front is -1.7, front right -1.2, back left is -2.8 and back right is -2.7. how far is this off spec and is it something that i should be worring about? my car has been pulling to the left, is it because of the camber?oh yea i do have a camber kit on all 4 corners is it possible to adjust it myself? my car is a 99 Si by the way dropped about 2.5-3 inches

your car will pull towards the side with the most positive camber, the readings that you got aren't too far off from spec. They should be able to order a kit and correct the camber. if not well, then they really dont know whats up. I think that they just dont want to work on a lowered car, i used to work for tires plus and did a **** ton of alignments and most of them were lazy, "oh its lowered?? no time for it"
if i take it back what should i say to them? they denied it profusley that they couldnt do anything about the camber, their reason being "it just cant be done". i want to have a good argument against them when i go back.

Camber will eat them up quicker, I installed some tires on a lowered car once and they were gone with in a couple days due to some nasty camber. I wouldn't take it back to them. they will prolly be a bunch of ***** and screw it up or some **** like that, im in the automotive industry and there are quite a few shady technicians.
yes you can adjust your toe, you can measure the length between the two tires on the front and the rear of the tire then compare the two. the toe spec for the civic is 0 degrees so just make sure that the measurements are pretty equal.
some cheap camber kits like ones found on ebay and what not can only adjust your camber a certain amount. If its really far off these kits wont be able to correct it. to fully get it corrected you will have to bite the bullet and buy longer upper control arms in the rear, and new adjustable ball joints for the front. These will correct your camber no matter how low your honda is. This is the only way because shims like used for stock allignment just wont cut it.
