Default b16 in CRX, just finished. cylinder 2 and 3 fill with fuel...maybe bad resistor pack????

ok- its an obdIIb b16. We have the obd0 to obdI with a obdI dizzy but obd0 injectors and resistor pack.

-I bougth the injectors and resistor pack used-

Go for first start, car cranks great but won't start.

Check some things try again, now it sounds like it is hydro locking....so we pull the plugs and crank it over and it launches like 2 quarts of gas in the air, then with the key in the run position, you can watch cylinders 2 and 3 refill with gas. Quickly. I figure either the injectors are getting stuck open? maybe a bad res. pack?

Any ideas? This sux!

if you converted to obd1, why are you still using the obd0 injectors?

because i want to run BIG injectors later...and i will need the res. pack anyways...so why not leave in the injectors?

Any ideas on my problem, or would you care to ask more pointless questions?

i guess i forgot that there were no BIG injectors available to use w/o resistor packs... no need for the flame bro, i was just tryin to get to know why you were runnin them. i am here to learn just as much as anyone else.

i was going to suggest that maybe there would be a problem with running obd0 injectors with obd1 dizzy but i guess you must know all.

good luck bro and i hope you find your problem.

Don't know all - just frustrated. It actually is a HX harness in an SI shell. Thanks anyway

Sounds like a bad ECU. Borrow another ECU and see what happens. I had the same problem but in all 4 cylinders. Ended up being a bad ecu that had the injectors stuck on full throttle.
