i sold my gsr ecu and i have nothing to use, and i was just wondering if it would be safe to use a P06 ecu just to get me to work and such. this will only be temporary until my rechipped p28 comes, and i won't be revving it high or anything. just driving it like a granny. let me know your input.

we all need to know the same thing and yes a skunk2 chip on a gsr ecu will make redline at 9200 i had it on my gsr for awhile

 

It will work, but I wouldn't use it for long. It will likely run lean since it's intended for a smaller displacement engine.
