i got a 99 accord with a neuspeed short throw, and it was a pretty easy install, i believe it should be the same for yours, you just take off the boot so you can get to the shift cables and one attaches to the bottom end of the short throw and the other attaches to the upper part its pretty easy (that is if its similar to mine)
