JDM Y21 tranny..add ITR LSD and Ls 5th gear.Possible?
Hey I have been on hondat-tech for years now..but never signed up..I searched a bunch of forums and hear different opinions and answers about swapping in a ITR Lsd differential and LS 5th gear in my JDM b16 Y21 tranny..labour will be free and parts will be at cost..I hear you have to cut and hack the webbing and get certain shims and it just wont fit..please help me out I am in a bind...If this wont work I will just go out and buy a used ITR tranny for $1500cdn but I will have to risk the ever so popular 3rd gear grind..thanks

I know this is soooo old but I'm in this same process.... I already swapped in the ITR LDS so I just wanna know which ls 5th main and countershaft gears I need for my y21 hydro tranny. The 91-93 or the 94+ gears? Any part#s? Thanks in advance. I have the tranny open so id like to finish this asap...
