2.5" catback for TypeR?
I am going to put in some bigger cams (either JUN or Toda) in the near future, and I read that to run best with those cams I will need a 2.5" catback system.
I found that almost all Japan exhaust company have only 60mm catback for TypeR. I would like to know if there any company (perfer Japan) that make 2.5" catback system for TypeR?
I will be running aftermarket cat or test pipe anyway, so the difference in length between the JDM and USDM catback will not be a problem to me.

Yes, Kakimoto R has a 70mm catback for the TypeR. It is a fully stainless steel catback system which made for JDM TypeR, so you will have to shorten either the b-pipe or the cat/test pipe to have it fit. With the current exchange rate, you will be looking at a bit less than $600USD. If you have more question, feel free to email me.

The Kakimoto R is 70mm OD, so the ID would be around 2.5", which unlike other so called 2.5" exhaust out there that have a 2.5"OD, but the ID is much smaller than 2.5".
The Kakimoto R is not loud at all, it give typical aftermarket exhaust sound, but no where near as loud as the N1 style exhaust.
Thanks for all the info. guys!!
And special thanks to SMSP and mafay2 for all the pictures.
I will think about it and make my decision between SMSP and Kakimoto R.
