scammed 500 bucks for a turbo by some kid eric martinez, he lives in south gate , california and his screen name on aim is quikspoolingst, i paid him thru paypal and as soon as he got the payment his fone stopped magically working and he hasnt online since or responded to my e mails, i paid him through paypal do you think i will get my money back?

if anyone can get me in contact with him ill give you 50 bucks, thanks

p.s. he said he didnt have a honda tech name he just e mailed me and everything sounded too good to be true .....****

Best way to avoid scam.
Always go though people with several post and have been members for at least a year

Always request several pictures of the items before sending payment

This one I also do when making large purchases

Request that they take pictures of the item being packaged and all boxed up.

This has worked for me so far.

 

^^^^ Same here scammers are like thieves buh instead of coming n jacking your items/cash they do it politely this is an alarm for all ht fellows be aware of scammers they are on the prowel.

 

talk about back from the dead, this thread is almost a decade old... i'm sure that $500 is long gone...

 

and this is why I've been pushing for H-T to implement a god dam reading test to all new users. Seriously how hard is it to read a date.

 

At least they know how to use the search button
