How much are you guys paying for Tein basics for ep3 and what drop are you running?
I am leaning towards the Tein basics so I can get just a little more drop than the Mugens (and I think a little cheaper). I have been wondering where the best prices are with good/quick service.
I was looking at the Tein site and it looks like they say the ideal drop for an ep3 is about 1.7" in front and 1.9" in the rear. If the photos on the Tein site were correct it looks like this will elminate the dreaded wheel gap, which I want. I am not trying to slam the car by any means just enhance the appearance and eliminate the roll for a car that is mostly DD and may only once in a while see any track time. So I was also wondering if the above mentioned drops are achieved without pillow mounts or camber kits.
I would also really appreciate if any has any pics with this drop and 16" wheels that they can post.
Thanks ahead of time!!!

if the basics are designed for the coupe it doesn't matter b/c they fit perfect on an ep. i have basics and love them don't spend the money for the flex if you aren't going to race it. the basics are great for daily driving and still perform great on the track. yes you will need a rear camber kit.

my friend just got TEIN basics for his DC5. the car look nice as hell when we dropped it. IT Handels really well too. My friend now actually looks like he can drive better. but yea right! I would get the basics for my EP too. SS is 16 ways adjustable and stuff but whatever. I dont really want to spend more money if i dont have to. I will have more money for my DC5 type R swap.

So there really is a basic for the ep3. Do you find your customers are needing to use camber kits for the recommended 1.7 in the front and the 1.9 in the rear?
Do you have a shop where you work on cars also or do you just retail parts? If you work on suspensions setups where are you in NC and can you do the alignment?
Thanks

I got my basic for about $800 on some website about a year ago. It was a mazda aftermarket products and they Honda ep3 basic coilover. I dropped 2' front and back.

I do not have that website, but with little research you should be able to find it.
