Stitch welding, worth it?
I can only figure this to go here, so here it is. Has anyone stitch welded their chassis/body, whatever you chose to say, and found the results to be worth the time? I was just considering doing this as I will already have the interior stripped and welder in hand to install a cage. Might as well right? I am just curious if there is a noticeable difference to the feel of the car.
Thanks for looking.

I was interested in this too, I did a search and found these two threads:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=827137
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=263539
The first thread seems to say it doesn't stiffen the chassis really, second says it does but its really not worth. Seems that you should only do it if you need the extra strength (ie spot welds failing).
On ef-honda there was a thread about it and someone said the easiest way to do it was to liquid nitrogen the seam glue then break it out with a hammer.
I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything just presenting the info I found.

I'm in the process of stich welding my car. I just started prepping all the seam getting all the body sealer off of them. A hammer and a flathead screwdriver is pretty good at stripping all the sealer off. I'm going to go over the seams w/ some adhesive remover and a wire wheel on a die grinder so it's nice and clean for welding.
Most people on the board say it's not worth the time, but I have nothing but time. After stripping most of the sealer off you would be surprised how our unibody's are barely held together. I think a nice small bead ever 6-8 inches is going to stiffen up the old CRX quite a bit
