Default installing a 04+ spoiler on a wingless trunk

hey everyone, im buying a 04+ spoiler tomorrow and was wondering if their's a layout or something that will help me know where to drill.. my 00 is wingless. thanks

if you look on the underside of your trunk lid...you should see where the holes are supposed to be. I'm not sure if the spoiler comes with a template to use or not.

Also, after the holes are drilled, remember to put a little touch-up paint inside the holes you made. This will minimize the chance for rust there.

i don't think the hole markings are there in the 00-03 trunks

There not marked on the pre 04's. Only the decklid spoiler holes are marked. Just line it up and drill.

Dab a bit of touch up paint where all the holes on the spoiler are and line it up on the trunk. If you mess up touch up paint wipes off with thinner real easy if its not dry yet.

damn thats smart, never would of thought of that.

just drilled it.. its no a big deal, it was easier then i thought!

take off the trunk lid and flip it up side down. put red or other toe nail polish on the mounting bolts and touch them accordingly.

why don't you get M3 double sided tapes. It's a lot easier, I've used it to put the OEM carbon fiber spoiler for my 03. mastergrade.net has the spoiler that you'll drool
